For buy-side and hedge funds

Execute size without signalling

You pay two costs when finding liquidity manually in OTC markets. The financial cost of the trade and then the informational cost of asking multiple counterparties for a price. OptAxe allows you to surface risk systematically and discreetly.

What you get

Discretion, control and liquidity.

Discretion

A targeted request is seen only by the issuers of the axes you select. There is no broadcast, and nobody outside the request learns that it was made.

Control

You choose when to ask, whom to ask and whether to trade. Quotes are firm for a stated validity window. You can also post your own interest and let the market come to you.

One screen

Consolidated inventory from all permissioned issuers, filtered by pair, tenor, structure and direction, with saved views for the risks you run.

How it fits the desk

Connect via OMS, direct API or Web UI

Buy-side participants can access the venue across multiple channels. Screen axes in your own risk systems via API or via the UI. Request direct RFQs. OptAxe connects where you trade.

  • No installation for the Web UI. REST/WS API specifications available on request.
  • Trades take place directly with your bilateral counterparties.
  • View and trade axes. Leave your own axes back to your trusted counterparties.

Counterparties and credit

You trade only with counterparties you have permissioned and documented. The venue does not intermediate credit. Counterparties are disclosed to each other at the point of trade.

Multi-pod funds

Entitlements can be set per portfolio manager or per pod, so each risk taker sees and posts only what they are permitted to.
