Four ways to reach the venue
Market makers price in their own systems and OptAxe builds to their FIX. Buy-side participants use the web UI. Everyone can read venue data over REST/WS and receive notifications in Symphony. Full specifications are provided to participants during onboarding.
Access model
A venue at the centre. Many ways in
OptAxe is more than a screen. The venue sits at the centre of a set of authenticated, permissioned access points: a web UI for traders, FIX for pricing and execution, REST/WS for pulling axes and data into your own systems, and Symphony for notifications to the desk. Participants connect in the way that suits them, work axes in their own trading systems, and send direct RFQs from wherever they work. Every connection is authenticated and permissioned under the Rulebook.

OptAxe connects Institutional Participants across one network
FIX for pricing and execution from the pricing engine. Web UI for sales and manual handling. REST/WS drop copy into risk and compliance. Symphony notifications to the desk.
Web UI for screening, requests and execution. REST/WS for trade history into the OMS and compliance. Symphony for axe alerts in the pairs and tenors you watch.
Web UI with client sub-accounts; FIX and REST/WS for system integration and certification.
Environments and support
UAT first, then production
Participants receive access to a UAT environment allowing users to test the full lifecycle of a trade. Integration to STP providers will also be configured before go-live.
- UAT environment: available during onboarding (hostnames and session details provided on request).
- Production: trading hours, maintenance windows and incident notices on the status page.
- Security: TLS on all connections, with IP allow-listing per firm.

Specifications are provided to participants and certified vendors under the participant or partner agreement. They are not published openly.
