Transparency
How pre-trade and post-trade transparency obligations under UK MiFIR apply to OTC FX options traded on the venue, and what the venue publishes as a result.
Pre-trade
OTC FX options are non-equity instruments under UK MiFIR. Pre-trade transparency on the venue is applied in accordance with the waivers available for the request for quote trading system and for instruments without a liquid market, as set out in the venue's transparency arrangements approved by the FCA.
Post-trade
Trades executed on the venue are made public in accordance with post-trade transparency requirements, subject to the deferrals available for non-equity instruments. Publication is made through the venue's chosen arrangement.
Transaction reporting
As an MTF, the venue submits transaction reports for transactions executed on it where the participant is not itself subject to the reporting obligation.
EMIR reporting
Trade reporting under EMIR remains the obligation of the counterparties. The venue provides the data participants need to report.
Venue data
Beyond regulatory transparency, aggregated, anonymised venue activity data is available to participants on request.
